KCCA FC have confirmed the departure of Moses Kalanzi from the club.
The Kasasiros announced that the left-back had run out his one-year contract and was leaving the club on Monday, July 05.
“Moses Kalanzi has left KCCA FC. The left back run down his contract at the end of the just concluded 2020/21 season.” Read part of KCCA’s post on their official website.
Kalanzi leaves KCCA off a nightmare season and one he will be eager to forget as soon as possible.
Doning the number 27, he was expected to replace Mustafa Kizza who was on his way to Major League Soccer after signing for Montreal Impact.
However, Kalanzi failed miserably as he made just a single appearance all season, taken off at halftime against BUL FC.
Injuries and struggles to attain full fitness did not help his cause either and at the end of the one-year deal, both parties have agreed to part ways.
His next destination has not yet been revealed but it is understood that he has offers in both Denmark and Spain.
