
KAMPALA – KCCA FC have confirmed the signing of Uganda Cranes midfielder Yassar Mugerwa.
Mugerwa joins the Kasasiro Boys on a two-year deal that will see him feature for the club until 2023.
His signing was announced by the Kasasiro Boys on Wednesday, July 28.
“Yassar Mugerwa has penned a two year deal at KCCA FC that will see him feature for the club from July 2021 – July 2023.” KCCA announced.
Mugerwa joins KCCA as a free agent following the expiration of his contract at Ethiopian side Sidama Coffee.
Mugerwa has previously worked with KCCA head coach Morley Byekwaso during their days at SC Victoria University.
The former Orlando Pirates and URA player is the 3rd signing for KCCA FC during this transfer window after Brian Majwega and Emmanuel Wasswa.
Mugerwas has also featured for clubs like St George, Shire FC, Fasil Kenema all from Ethiopia.
He is a Uganda Cranes international who is capped 13 times for the national team.
