Chiukepo Msowoya scored a 66th minute goal to deny Express FC all three points against Nyasa Big Bullets in the CECAFA Kagame Cup.
The Red Eagles had taken a 7th minute lead and looked be on course for all three points until Msowoya slotted home from close range.
Despite the draw, Express edged closer to sealing a semi final spot and now need to just avoid defeat in their last group A game against Yanga Africans on Saturday, August 07.
Like it was in the win against Atlabara, Express scored early in the first half, as Mutyaba beat a couple of defenders before striking past Ernerst Kakhobwe in the Big Bullets goal.
The goal proved to be the difference in the first half as Express went into the break leading 1-0.
However, Msowoya responded with a goal of his own, mid-way through the send half.
Express still lead the standings on four points while Big Bullets, who drew 1-1 with Yanga Africans in their opening game, are second on two.
Yanga and Atlabara clash in the day’s second game.
